welcome gardener!

move on is a farming platformer game. use your trusty watering can and gardening shears to grow and nurture your plant until it reaches the clouds themselves.

  objective

there is a star waaay up top, beyond the layer of clouds, that awaits you. grow out your little sprout into a tall tree, climb along its branches and reach the star. grow and then move on.

  1. Collect rain water and use your watering can to grow plant bulbs into trunks.
  2. Cut bramble with your gardening shears to make navigating easier and to earn fruit.
  3. Use fruit to buy seeds off of pedestals and plant them on the trunk to further develop your plant.

  controls

  • arrow keys / WASD - aim tools & seeds / move.
  • Z / Spacebar - jump.
  • X / E - use currently equipped seed/tool.
  • C / Q - pick up and drop items, interact when prompted by a small "!" above the player's head.

 tips & tricks

  • hold down while mid-air to fast-fall.
  • plant bulbs grow on their own, but watering them speeds up the process.
  • if you lose any of your tools, interact with their respective shed to instantly retrieve them from wherever they are.
  • you can water already grown flowers to get a little extra mileage out of them.
