Very nice and charming game! What library and language did you make this in?

Thank you so much! The game was made using Game Maker 2, which has it's own language built into the engine

Charming and cute, yet also very serious and real.
It really captures the feeling of zoning off into these sorts of thoughts.
Absolutely loved it.

Hello, I played this game and I liked it, it was a very short but sweet little game, good work :)

why can't i move after saying "take a dip" the avatar just crouches and stays in one place

(1 edit)

Hey! Sorry, you need to hold down one of the buttons until the player jumps! I'll think up of a way to make it more clear in a patch!

oh it might just be me im a bit slow but thank youuu

made me depressed, because it hit me too close to my own experience.

the drowning part is something i feel everyday.

don't take it the wrong way, i'm not saying anything bad about the game, just made me feel bad cuz im currently fighting depression

dear game developer if u can make this type of game, i can tell you fighting something as well, i hope you find a way to not let it destroy you and beat it

Hey! Thanks so much for playing and also for sharing your experiences. Depression is a really difficult thing to live with and to overcome.

While I don't know your personal history with depression, I can at least tell you that - for me - after actively working on my depressive thoughts, it did get easier.

Please, stay strong!

Hi forestherd, I played your game and found this experience so... relatable. This is almost exactly the thing that happens to me every time I have a drink with other people. So, thank you for sharing this experience and doing this in a videogame medium. This game is special somehow for me.

(+1)

Thank you! I'm so happy to hear this game resonated with you!

Ahhh thank you for playing my game and making a video! This is so cool!

short, but really good,  this game helped me to understand how depressed person feels, better. I think it's important to know, that it's not so simple to just get rid of depression.  You have to fight with it every day, again and again.  Also,  love the  style.  Calming and beautiful.

Thank you for the kind words and for playing!
